BAREFOOT BOWLS

Cost per rink is $200 for 2 hours. One rink is suitable for up to 10 guests. You will also be assigned a table next to your bowling rink for the duration of your bowls booking. If you would like to stay for longer an additional table reservation must be made to ensure seating is available for your group. Bowls bookings are made on the hour and we recommend arriving up to 15 minutes before your assigned bowls time to ensure enjoyment of the full booking period.

CATERING & BEVERAGES

When organising your catering please let us know if any of your guests have dietary requirements or allergies so we can assist you with your selection. All catering must be prepaid at least 7 days prior to your event. Catering is not refundable or transferable if your booking is cancelled within 5 days of your event.

Bar tabs can be pre-paid or setup on the day of your function. If you wish to set a bar tab up on the day of your function ensure you bring a physical ID and credit/debit card to be kept behind the bar for the duration of your tab. We have a vast selection of craft beer (18 taps), wines, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages on offer.

Please note: The staff at Bondi Bowling Club reserve the right to refuse service and practice the Responsible Service of Alcohol.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the event will be reimbursed, less any costs incurred.

Cancellations made 1 - 3 weeks out from the event will have 50% of the room and rink hire reimbursed.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days until the event will not be reimbursed.

In case of wet weather or if the greens are unplayable, rink hire fees may be converted to a Food or Drink tab to be consumed on the event date, or for rink hire at a future available date.

There will be no refunds of Food / Catering payments or Venue Hire due to wet weather on the day of an event.

Where there has been a pre-committed bar tab/ drinks package and the value of that package has not been fully consumed on the date, a refund will not be given. However, under certain conditions, the cost may be redeemable. If more than 48 hours notice is given to cancel drinks packages, the amount will be redeemable. With less than 48 hours notice, or if there are less people in attendance on the day, costs will not be redeemed or refunded.

Bondi Bowling club adheres to responsible service of alcohol. The club has the right to refuse service to any patron.

DURATION OF FUNCTION

Functions are booked for a standard duration of 2 hours unless specified. After 2 hours, you may have to vacate the area.

For evening functions, last drinks will be called by 11pm.

SIGN IN RULES

The sign in rules for NSW CLUBS apply to the Bondi Bowlo.

If you live within 5km of the club, you must either become a member, or sign in as a guest of a member.

Guests living outside the 5km range may sign in as a guest of the club.

For some events, the Bondi Bowling Club may organise a specific event sign-in register in co-operation with the organiser, to help expedite the process.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

No Food or Beverage is permitted to be bought onto the club’s premises at any time (except celebration cakes eg. birthday, wedding cakes).

Due to hygiene reasons, please bring your own paper or plastic plates and disposable cutlery to serve your cake/s with.

Prior arrangements for celebration cakes must be made with the club’s manager or function manager.

CHILDREN & MINORS

As a registered club, the regulations and laws of the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) and the Registered Clubs Act are applicable to all parents and guardians of children and minors while at the Bondi Bowling Club.

A minor is defined by law as any person under the age of 18 years of age. This includes children and infants.

Minors must be under adult supervision at all times.

Minors are not permitted in the bar area at any time and not within 1.5 metres of the bar in the dining area.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult when using the bathroom.

Minors are not permitted on any greens unattended.

Minors must not run around, jump or shout while at the club and should remain with parents/ guardians at all times.

Minors are requested to leave premises by 9pm.

18th & 21st BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The Bondi Bowlo does not hold 18th Birthdays. Any 21st birthday parties will be considered for approval only after consultation with management and directors and if there is an acceptable ratio of older adults to provide adequate supervision.

The organiser is required to cover the charge of an additional security guard at the rate of $300 per 4 hours (or $400 for public holidays). Security must be paid for in full 7 days before the event.

CONDUCT OF PATRONS / DAMAGE & INSURANCE

For the duration of your function, you and your guests must agree to act in an orderly manner and abide by our venue’s regulations.

You will be held financially and legally responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests to the premises or our property during a function.

The Bondi Bowlo may request a bond payment for certain events.

The Bondi Bowlo reserves the right to exclude or eject any or all of the guests attending an event at its sole discretion, without liability.

Behaviour from guests that is improper will not be tolerated.

The Bondi Bowlo will try to take all reasonable care, but will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of items before, during or after a function.

No responsibility will be taken for personal belongings, gifts, equipment or decorations brought onto the premises.

All minors are required to leave by 7pm.

All patrons, including children, must wear shoes and be appropriately attired at all times. (except for barefoot on the GREENS !)

We are in a residential area, so please be considerate when leaving the premises and keep noise to a minimum.

DECORATIONS

All decorations must be removed by the client on the conclusion of the function or at a time that has been agreed by the club.

Decorations must be approved by the club prior to the event. The Bondi Bowlo reserves the right to remove any offensive decorations.

Clients will be financially liable for any damage sustained to the Clubhouse, surrounding property, patrons, and the cost for repairs or replacement to any damage that occurs will be passed on to the client.

ENTERTAINMENT

The club will allow for functions to book entertainment upon approval.

The event organiser can organise pre-approved DJs, live acts and trivia hosts for your event upon request, if the event has been deemed suitable.

If the client wishes to book entertainment themselves, then the details of the act will need to be provided to the event organiser and Club Management prior to the booking for approval. The event organiser will then provide the client with the equipment requirements for the entertainment.

All entertainment costs are to be covered by the client.

The Bondi Bowlo takes no responsibility for any entertainers, equipment or material.
